The Patakbasapakan Method exists to develop capable protectors, disciplined leaders, skilled instructors, and responsible members of society through the study of integrated martial arts, cultural heritage, personal protection, and lifelong learning.

This method is founded on the principles of dedication, discipline, personal development, and the responsible transmission of martial knowledge. As such, the integrity of the system shall never be compromised for convenience, profit, or rapid advancement.

 

No Shortcuts to Mastery

We do not offer "fast-track" instructor certification programs or guaranteed rank advancement based solely upon attendance at seminars, workshops, or private lessons. Likewise, the Patakbasapakan Method is not taught through correspondence courses or unstructured video-only instruction, nor is rank advancement guaranteed through online participation alone. While educational materials may serve as references, they are not substitutes for structured online instruction, practical application, corrective coaching, and consistent study and development.

Earned Rank & Responsibility

We do not issue instructor certifications or rank credentials based upon memorization of techniques, attendance records, or financial contribution. Rank, responsibility, and instructional authority must be earned through demonstrated proficiency, character, leadership, and long-term commitment to the arts.

The Path of Progression

The Patakbasapakan Method recognizes that authentic martial skill cannot be developed through shortcuts. A student may memorize hundreds of techniques and movements, yet true understanding is demonstrated only when the principles become natural, functional, and embodied through consistent training.​ 

 

Integrity of the System

Our objective is not to produce large numbers of instructors. Our objective is to cultivate capable practitioners who possess a complete understanding of the system and who can preserve and transmit its principles with integrity. As with any respected institution of learning, martial education is acquired through study, practice, mentorship, and experience. It cannot be purchased. Knowledge may be shared, but wisdom and skill must be earned.

Preserving the Standard​

The Patakbasapakan Method does not seek worldwide representation for the sake of expansion. Growth occurs naturally through dedicated practitioners whose passion, conduct, and commitment reflect the values of the system. Those who carry the Patakbasapakan Method forward are expected to embody its principles both within and beyond the training environment. We make no claim of being the greatest martial system. However, we remain committed to giving our very best in preserving, developing, and teaching the arts according to the standards established by the Founder and the Zaram Karabah Combat Systems.
